Spiritual Talk with H.E Dilgo Khyentse Yangsi Rinpoche

*A brief introduction to DKYR*

Dilgo Khyentse Yangsi Rinpoche is the recognized reincarnation of the renowned Nyingma master Kyabjé Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, confirmed by the Dalai Lama and mentored by Trulshik Rinpoche.

Enthroned at Shechen Tennyi Dargyeling Monastery in Nepal in 1997. His father, Kyabjé Tsikey Chokling Rinpoche was an emanation of the great 19th century tertön (treasure revealer) Chogyur Lingpa. In Tibetan Buddhism, tertöns are reincarnations of the 25 main disciples of Guru Rinpoche *Padmasambhava* and have a unique ability to uncover and reveal termas, which are ancient teachings, texts or sacred objects that were hidden by Padmasambhava in the 8th/9th centuries, waiting to be discovered at the right time, by the right person when most needed in the world.

His grandfather was the renowned Dzogchen master Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche, who founded both the famous Ka-Nying monastery and the Nagi Gompa nunnery in Nepal.

Dilgo Khyentse Yangsi Rinpoche has a special connection with Africa and senses a deep affinity between Tibet and Africa through our connection with nature, harmonious community living and a deep underlying spirituality.
