Practice Description

Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga is a form of Hatha yoga designed to give one a strong, light body. It is a form of Hatha yoga that synchronizes breath and movement in a flowing sequence of asanas (postures). When practised regularly, it develops strength, flexibility, stamina and helps to cultivate an all-round feeling of well-being.  The classes end with a relaxation practice that involves music and aromatherapy and leaves one feeling centred, with a still and focused mind.

Pre-natal yoga helps one prepare for childbirth by relaxing the body and focusing on safe techniques and poses in all stages of pregnancy. The focus is on gentle hip openers, back strengthening poses, pranayama (breath techniques) and guided meditations.
