You Are the Womb

Ideas are but the conception phase of what we hope to birth into this world. As co-creators of our universe and reality, our hopes and dreams are what we nurture, what we tend to, so that when the time is right, we give birth to them and the world can see what we carried within us for so long.

Unfortunately, between conception and birth, is a period of uncertainty and great trial to test one’s will and determination. How far are you willing to go for your dream? How much are you willing to endure? How much are you willing to let go of, learn, adapt to, in order to see it come to life?

Once a friend of mine echoed to me words that I had once told myself in thought. “I’ll run to my dreams. If I can’t run, I’ll walk. If I can’t walk, I’ll crawl. All I know is that no matter how hard the winds howls, I hold the vision and keep moving forward. This meant giving up was not on the table unless death came along (although I could picture a negotiation at this point :))

What I wish to say is, we all have desires and we would be nothing short of ecstatic when our dreams are realised. Yet between us and the creation we seek to birth is a journey filled with both triumph and tears. There’s failure but there’s also wins. And the wins come in those moments we least expect it, like a baby kicking in the mother’s tummy. A sign that your dream is still alive, that it’s not an impossibility, that you’re not crazy. And these moments naturally outweigh the sleepless nights, the aches and pains, the exhaustion, the uncertainty, the naysayers and the tough lessons. These moments are glimpses of a starry night where you look up and feel both small and magnificent at the very same time and you find yourself whispering “guide my path”.

I don’t know what dreams you have or when the time for birth will be. No one ever knows. You simply have to answer the call, heed and follow the signs and prepare for the right time. In that is what we call ‘Divine Timing’. We’re just here to be a vessel; a container for what wishes to be born into existence. And we honour that dance of life. For in it, the Divine comes to you and asks, “May I Have This Dance.”

Spiritual awakening is simply the realization or remembering of who you are. This is not a conceptual understanding, this is a deep experiential knowing. Every awakened being will tell you that awakening was not like anything they thought it would be.
