Psychosocial interventions in workplace mental well-being<\/p>\n
Simply Connect Out of Africa (SCOoA) is addressing Alcohol and Drug abuse in Kenya, a problem that is rapidly escalating. Alcoholics in corporate and other entities are left to family for assistance, who are also almost as unwell as the addicted individual. With this in mind, SCOoA has established a corporate-centric module to ease this problem which has encroached the workplace, forcing many companies to let go trained employees and ending up with an emotive on edge workforce.<\/p>\n
Simply Connect Out of Africa is collaborating with various organizations, such as KenGen, Wildfire Flower farm in Karagita among others for prevention programs aimed at reducing illicit drug use, excessive alcohol use and the misuse of prescription drugs. We are involving organizations in substance abuse prevention through specifically workplace prevention within the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and health promotions.<\/p>\n
